We've used mind-mapping as a strategy for brainstorming in conference sessions. You can find a copy of the actual mind map from the session here <>. (also the converge session) Michael used an early freeware copy of mind-manager, which he is unfortunately not licensed to redistribute.

At the November '06 ALA conference, we aim to use the Zing software/hardware package as a brainstorming activity. (The NQ Small Business and Hume/Wodonga projects have used this in '06.)
